Explore surface techniques including texture-making, carving, and slip/underglaze decoration, along with altering wheel-thrown forms. Through cutting, layering, stacking, and reconstruction, students will transform familiar ceramic forms into playful sculptural assemblages—combining wheel-thrown elements, handbuilt components, and found fragments into dynamic compositions.
