“I have done art all of my life. Studied painting in my teen years. Attended a summer session at Black Mountain College. Graduated from the University of Minnesota with an architecture degree. I learned to work in clay and have been doing this for many years. The figures that I do now are meant to comment on life. I see these figures as a kind of contemporary folk art.”
