Collection: Justin Trapp

Justin Akeim Trapp is a Black ceramic artist from Indianapolis (IN) currently residing in Haw River (NC). Trapp graduated from the Herron School of Art & Design (Indianapolis, IN) with a BFA in photography and ceramics. He enjoys making utilitarian, fine art objects for everyday use that appeal to casual users as well as seasoned collectors. He’s currently focused on making functional tableware and exploring the intersection between fine art and function while mixing puns into everyday ceramic forms. As an art educator with over 10 years of experience, Trapp is a lifelong student who’s hungry to learn and share.
