John Morse was born and raised in southern Minnesota and got his degree in fine art from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. While living in Minneapolis for nearly 40 years, he had several interesting and successful careers, including gravestone making, bartending, photo styling, and creative direction for Target. His latest engagements are tending a large garden with his husband Joe and making pots on top of a mesa overlooking the scenic Pecos River Valley in northern New Mexico.
