Collection: Leach Pottery

The Leach Pottery attracts potters from all over the world and serves as a meeting place for the exchange of skills and ideas. The team functions both collectively and as talented individual potters. Under the guidance of Lead Potter, Roelof Uys, the workshop team efficiently and skillfully produces a range of hand-thrown tableware. An international team of production potters, volunteers, and apprentices throw Leach Standard Tableware. The Leach Pottery also produces a line of bespoke Studio pieces born of collaboration and a nod to the pottery’s history. Through production, or Standard Ware, the pottery trains the next generation of potters, teaching them throwing-based production and cooperation. The pottery’s work is intended to challenge consumption culture and create connections between the owner and the maker.
