Collection: Bri Larson

Amston, CT

Bri Larson is originally from Minnesota, but now lives and works from a small home studio (Amston, CT) and a larger studio located in the Nicholson File Artist Community (Providence, RI). She earned her BFA in ceramics from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (River Falls) where she studied wood firing under Randy Johnston. After college, Larson moved to Rhode Island to begin her residency at The Steel Yard (Providence, RI) and shifted her focus from atmospheric to electric firings. She currently makes wheel thrown pottery adorned with colorful clays and hand-drawn imagery arranged in patterns across the surface. When she’s not working in the studio or caring for her toddler full time, you can find her hiking and biking the outdoors, knitting with hand-dyed yarn, and playing D&D with her friends.
