Collection: Alysha Hill

Richfield, MN

Alysha Hill is a born and raised Minnesotan. Hill earned a BFA in studio art, with an emphasis in ceramics, from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Following college, Hill worked in a ceramic production studio in the Twin Cities (MN). Naturally, she moved on to teach ceramics at a community art center and taught wheel throwing, handbuilding, jewelry, and fused glass in addition to her role as a lead studio technician. Currently, she serves as the community engagement manager at Northern Clay Center. Hill produces work as A Hill Studio from her home studio. She thoughtfully crafts small collections of whimsical utilitarian ceramics using locally-sourced clay. Her work is inspired by her surroundings, seasons, and change—spring to winter and vibrant to simplistic. From dishes and earrings to home decor, she enjoys creating functional art that captures meaningful memories of special moments.
